OWNER AND FOUNDER
My name is John Reed owner of Next Level Electric, I live in Ventura with my wife Heather and our three children Andrew, Alexys and Avery. I have been working in the electrical field for thirty years. As a kid I was always intrigued with electricity, I found myself at the age of thirteen wiring lights and outlets in my grandpa’s shed
and garage simply loving every minute of it. At the age of sixteen I started my first job as an apprentice for a large electrical company. I have done everything from energy management systems, for retail stores like Macy’s department store to wiring custom homes. After working on large projects for many years I started working for a company specializing in electrical service based out of Simi Valley, doing everything from trouble shooting to panel upgrades and lighting installs. I truly found my passion to help others with their electrical needs. I later found a company based out of Santa Barbara that I was apart of for sixteen years. I was their lead service electrician doing everything from panel upgrades to landscape design & install as well as Interior lighting design and install. In order to be closer to my family I was offered an amazing opportunity to manage a service department for a local electric company, I worked doing everything from scheduling to installs of electrical needs & estimating.
After many years of wanting to create my own company and having my family, friends and customers encouraging me along, I am happy to say that I have followed my dreams and created Next Level Electric!
